Barbara Hansen Strate of Spring City, Utah passed away at the age of 76, on Friday, October 6th in Spanish Fork, Utah.

Born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah on November 20, 1946, to Willard G. and Bernice Baxter Hansen, Barbara was the third of four children and was the only daughter. Growing up in the small town of Spring City, Utah, she spent her days raising and riding horses alongside her dad, adoring baby dolls, and cruising around in her brother’s hot rod. She graduated from North Sanpete High School with the class of 1965. She was married to Stephen H. Strate in the Manti Temple on July 1, 1966, and later divorced. Together they were the proud parents of four children, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Barbara was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and worked at the Manti Temple for twenty years, before retiring in 2013. She served faithfully in her callings and was the first to show selfless love to anyone and everyone she knew. Barb was always the first to offer a helping hand and give her time and possessions to those in need.

Her selfless nature was never more apparent than when she was with her family. She fiercely loved children, grandkids, and great-grandkids. She dedicated her life to her family and there was never a game, barrel race, or activity for any of her grandkids that you couldn’t find her at. When she wasn’t with her family, you could catch her out to lunch with her friends, on a ride up the mountains, driving around her hometown of Spring City, and watching the horses out at the pasture.

Regardless of her life circumstances, she could always count on her favorite men, George Strait her “boyfriend” and John Wayne her “husband” to bring a smile to her face. Her ability to find the brightest parts of life is what made her personality so infectious.

Her close bond with her brothers is something she carried with her for her entire life. You could catch her out on the porch chatting or watching The Price is Right with one of them on any given day. When she wasn’t surrounded by friends and family, you could be sure her furry friend and closest companion, her dog Sadie, was always close by.

Barbara was a light to all those who knew her, and the warmth of her house was unmatched. The saying “there’s no place like home except grandma’s house” was a feeling in the most real sense in her home. There truly was no place more special than Barbara’s home and the love she showed to everyone who entered it.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Bernice; her brother, Howard Hansen; and her grandson, Dawson McKinley Strate. She is survived by her children Angela (Larry) Christiansen, Delynn (Tammy) Strate, Amberlee Memmott, Devin (Amy) Strate; grandchildren Ashlee (Dellan), Kyle (Haley), McKade, Tiana (Joey), Kierstyn, Darian, Hailee, Kodi; great-grandchildren Ember, Emree, Sylvie, Jaxxon, Hastings, Lachlan; Brothers Vanoy (Evon) Hansen, Richard (Karen) Hansen, and many nieces and nephews.

Kyle Douglas Draper

 

Kyle Draper formerly of Mr. Pleasant 

and currently of Logan Utah, passed away 

in his sleep at his home on September 12, 2023.

Kyle was born in Calcutta, 

India on August 18, 1988. 

His parents Douglas Draper and

 Shauna Hepworth adopted him 

on April 2, 1989. 

He was welcomed into his family and loved like their own.

Kyle had many health challenges throughout his life. 

He was born with Cerebral Palsy and lost his left eye at four and a half years old. 

Kyle underwent many surgeries 

and many hours of various therapies.

 

He never complained and was a bright spot for others. 

Kyle was a very happy guy.

 

Everyone loved his big smile and friendly attitude. 

He made lifetime friends everywhere he went.

Kyle was an “old” soul. 

He liked old movies, old music, and older people. 

He always continued to learn, he enjoyed music, 

trying new recipes, and making friends.

 He loved history and especially 

information about the U.S. Presidents. 

He loved holidays but his favorite was Christmas. 

He would put up his Christmas tree in October.

Kyle was a very determined young man

 and tried his best at whatever he wanted to achieve. 

He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 2006 with honors and was his  

Senior Class President. He attended

 Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. 

He enjoyed getting to make friends 

living in Ephraim at 5 different apartments. 

He worked at the counseling office. 

Kyle fulfilled a service mission 

for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 

while living in Ephraim.

Kyle made the move to Logan, Utah in 2014. 

He kept active and enjoyed being independent.

 He served others and did volunteer work at the mall.

Kyle had many Special mentors, teachers, therapists, and friends who helped him increase his quality of life. Stan and Teresa Clark's family in Garland Utah included him as one of their own. 

He was very close to TaNeal Jenkins (Mt. Pleasant) and Diana Robbins (Manti) special friends who helped him fulfill throughout his life.

Mickey Frodsham (Logan). 

Also, grandparents Val and Beverly Moore

Kyle is survived by his parents Douglas Draper (Mt. Pleasant), Shauna, and (Terry) Hepworth (Mt. Pleasant). Siblings Kristy (Dave) Mayo (Mt. Pleasant), Klint Draper (Fairview) and Kim (Jaymes) Lamb (Wales). Many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn Brown, 76 of Mount Pleasant, passed away August 1, 2023 in Elmo, Utah. Born January 28, 1947 to Alden Loraine & Hazel Athaleen Holman Shepherd in Mount Pleasant, Utah. Marilyn married Richard Earl Brown April 29, 1966 in the Manti Temple. They were blessed with two sons Todd and Rick.

She was a master seamstress and worked many years for Pacific Trail, Pyke Manufacturing and Rivers West making apparel where she took great pride in her work. Marilyn loved road trips, shopping, reading books and crossword puzzles. She especially loved family gatherings with her kids, grandkids and siblings.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Todd Brown (JD Burton), Rick (Tera) Brown; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; siblings, Betty-Kay (Ralph) Wright, Marcia Nay, & JoAnn (Allen)Nielsen. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, siblings LaFaye Hamilton, Debbie Shepherd, Robert Shepherd, nephew Michael & Kenny Hamilton.

Funeral services were held Saturday August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant 4th Ward Chapel (49 S State).

“No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle,” said Winston Churchill, a motto Charles Allen McKay embraced!
On the beautiful morning of August 16th, 2023, our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Charles Allen McKay passed from this life. Even at 92 years old he was not ready to go, because he always had another project he wanted to do.
Charles was born on July 26th, 1931 to Kenneth Verl and Bernneta McKay. He loved his siblings and their spouses, all now deceased; Mayre (McKay) Andersen, Pat (Oneil) Hansen, Diane (Gordon) Sperry, and Kenneth McKay.
As a young man Charles enjoyed herding sheep, being in the mountains, and on the desert. He got to live his dream of owning his own sheep herd, and raising horses on his farm.
He spent four years in the Air Force as an Airplane Woodworker. He served in Thule, Greenland, and on other Air Force bases during the Korean war. In 2018, he was privileged to participate in the Utah Honor Flight to Washington D.C. for veterans.
After his military service, he met and married Elna Johansen on December 8, 1956.

Their marriage was later solemnized on October 20, 1999 in the Manti Temple. Four wonderful children blessed their union, Jennifer (Jim) Walker, John Allen (Debbie) McKay, Heidi (Tony) Kelso, and Molly (Rich) Brotherson. He had 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Charlie served as the President of the Pioneer Historical Association and on the Twin Creek Irrigation Board. He helped organize the Sanpete County Lamb and Wool Pool in 1988. His favorite church calling was serving as the Ward Librarian. Together with his wife, they owned and operated the Dairy Freeze in Mount Pleasant for nine years.

Charles loved his horses and rode up until his 91st birthday. He, like Ronald Reagan, said, “The back of a horse is good for the inside of a man.” His hobby in his later years was restoring old wagons, and he completed the restoration of a beautiful wagon last Winter. He loved working with wood and was a true craftsman. He always had a good story and a mint for everyone.

He is survived by his wife, children, and all of their families. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center. Viewings will be held Sunday August 20, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services both held at the church. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.

Chariton Jacobs

    Henry “Chariton” Jacobs IV, age 77 left his earthly home on May 24, 2023, in Murray, Utah surrounded by family after a short hospitalization.
    Chariton was born May 31, 1945, in Provo, Utah to Henry Chariton Jacobs III and Florence Fern McIntosh. He was the second child of three and the only boy. 
    He married Novie Fay Williams on November 21, 1970, in the Manti Temple. While married they had one daughter, Angeline Jacobs. Novie later passed away on December 1, 1986.  He married Annie Swasey Purcell on March 12, 1999, in the Vernal Utah Temple, gained five bonus children and they enjoyed 24 wonderful years together. 
    Chariton was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served a mission in the Gulf States Mission, Baton Rouge, Louisiana was his favorite area. He served in many callings and enjoyed attending the temple.
    Chariton cut meat for 51 years, in several stores, he retired in January of 2022.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and spending time with family especially the grandchildren, they could get anything out of their grandpa.  Games with his family around the table was one of his favorite things.  He loved the Gospel, and His Father in Heaven.
    He is survived by his wife, Annie Jacobs, his sisters, Karen Shelly Hacking, Roosevelt; Annette Hansen,,Fountain Green, Utah; his daughter, Angeline Jacobs, Roosevelt; bonus children, Luke (Tiffany) Purcell, Herriman, UT; Andrew (Jessica) Purcell , Bluebell; Warren (Erica) Purcell, Vernal; Cora (Michael) Sabo, Tooele; Kadee (Dakota) Fox, Roosevelt; 8 grandchildren and his beloved dogs, Abby and Phoebe.,
    He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Novie and a grandson, Odysseus Fox.
    Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt West Stake Chapel.  Viewings will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hullinger Mortuary and Friday before services from 9:00 to 9:45a.m. at the church.  
    Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Mount Pleasant, Utah at 3:30 P.M.

Duane Allen Shelley passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023. Allen was born on October 14, 1935, to David A. Shelley and Geneva McArthur Shelley. Allen graduated from North Sanpete High School and then attended Snow College, where he played football. He also attended Utah Trade Tech studying heating, air, and welding. Allen married Phyllis Coates on June 19, 1965, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on March 2, 1974.

Allen worked in heating and air until he took over the family sheep farm. He spent many hours on the farm baling hay, moving water lines, and taking care of the sheep herd. Each summer he herded the sheep to the mountain for the summer where he would spend time with his children riding horses and cooking dutch oven meals. Allen loved his horses. He had several quarter horses, palominos, and appaloosas. One of his favorite things to do was go fishing. He bought a boat that he loved to take family and friends on to fish.

Allen served on the Mt. Pleasant City council for years where he developed many relationships with those in the community. He briefly served in the army. He was active in the LDS church serving in many capacities such as a counselor in the Bishopric.

Allen is survived by his children Abbigail C. Shelley, Mt. Pleasant, UT, Amanda S. Nelson(Skyler), Saratoga Springs, UT, and Chet A. Shelley(Nicole), Pleasant Grove, UT. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Boston, London, Graham, Jacoby, and Paisley. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters; David, Blain, Dale, Darwin, Melvin, Ned, Margaret, Marion, and Betty.

Allan Leon Beck, 89, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2023, at his home in Orem, Utah, surrounded by his family just short of his 90th birthday. Allan was born on April 28, 1933, to Earl Hafen Beck and Ruth Olsen Beck in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He was one of five children, Earl Duane (passed at birth), Allan, Eldon, Earlene and Ruth Ann.

He grew up in Indianola, Utah, and was always very active and loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and playing football, basketball and track. He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1951, and afterward attended the University of Utah in 1952. He served in the Utah National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve, spending time overseas in Taiwan. Allan was very proud to be a Veteran and had a great love for our nation’s flag.

He married his high school sweetheart Marian Ruth Nielson on June 4, 1953. They were married 25 years and were blessed with four children, Mark Allan, Malinda, Marianne and Matthew.

Allan had a love for learning and could build or fix anything he put his mind to. He built the first workable television in the area at Indianola in 1949. It is now in the Fairview Museum. He installed the first TV in Mt. Pleasant at Herman Beck’s home before TV stations moved their transmitting stations high on the Oquirrh Mountains west of Salt Lake City.

He founded Beck’s TV, a local business in Mt. Pleasant in 1958. His son Mark Allan took over the family business in 1980 and it continues today as a retail home furnishings business on Main Street.

In January 1958, he engineered and installed Sanpete County’s first television translator relay site, located at the base of the mountain east of Mt. Pleasant. This translator station made TV possible for Mt. Pleasant and surrounding towns and is still functioning today.

He held many offices in the Chamber of Commerce, including the president. He was a charter member of JC’s and the Sanpete County Search & Rescue and held several offices in both organizations. He served as Mayor of Mt. Pleasant (1978-1980) and worked hard to make improvements to the city, including the municipal sewer system and settling ponds west of the airport. He also was able to get the airport improved from gravel to a paved landing surface.

On July 23, 1980, he married the love of his life Betty Moulton Harvey at “The Lake” in Indianola, Utah, and increased his family by two children, Craig and Katie Sue. They were later sealed in the Provo Utah LDS Temple on April 28, 1984. They made their home in Orem, Utah.

They loved spending time in Indianola, and created a Hideaway there, constantly improving and caretaking the pond on the mountain (“The Lake”) and considered it their home away from home. Their family, including children and grandchildren, have come to love The Lake and the beautiful surroundings that Allan has been instrumental in creating.

Allan also worked at Wells Distributing and then Ryan Distributing, both in Salt Lake City, as Service Manager of their appliance division, and later worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center (Provo) in the Engineering Department, fixing and maintaining all the electronics in the facility. He retired from Intermountain Healthcare in 1996 so that he could spend more time in his favorite place, Indianola.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Moulton Beck and 6 children, Mark Allan (Laura) Beck, Malinda (Scott) Overman, Craig (Carolyn) Harvey, Marianne (Patrick) Davis, Matthew (Becky) Beck, Katie (Eric) Peterson, 24 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at the LDS chapel on 500 South 600 West Orem, UT. Viewing 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery. Many thanks to Dignity Home Health & Hospice team, especially Markae, Marisela and Melissa who took great care in assisting Allan in his final days.

On December 12, 2022, Tony Edmunds took the next step on our journey here on earth. He was born July 29, 1947 in Payson, Utah to Fred and Edna Edmunds. His childhood memories centered around family, friends, sheep, sheep camps, mutton and sour dough. Tony joined the army in 1964 and proudly served our country in the Vietnam War. He married his first wife Vickie Cox, of Manti, Utah and together they had two children. Trisha and Bret. He left the military and later married Julie Sorensen, together they shared 38 of the very best years that could be spent on earth.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Edna Edmunds; brothers, Jon, Kevin, and Brent Edmunds. He is survived by his children Trisha (Tony) Mitchell, and Bret Edmunds; his wife Julie Edmunds; brothers Phil, Clair Edmunds, and Jeff (Carol) Edmunds; and, his sister Eva (Ken) Olsen; sister-in-law Flora Edmunds. He was loved by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that were like grandchildren to him .

Dorothy Clark Russell passed away peacefully on Dec. 24, 2022 at the age of

98. Dorothy was born on December 9, 1924, in Georgetown, Idaho, the first of five children to Newell Sirls Clark and Meta Margaret Wunderli. After the accidental death of her father when she was seven years old, the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she spent many years. She graduated from West High School in 1942. Her first job was at Snelgrove Ice Cream and then she worked at Eimac, a Division of Varian. She retired in 1983. Dorothy married Harold John Evans on December 11,1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. She and Harold divorced in 1962. She married John D. Willcox on November 7, 1973. Dorothy and John moved to Mt. Pleasant, Utah, in 1983, where Dorothy was very active in the community and in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers organization. John died of cancer in 1995. She married David A. Russell on December 20, 2001 and moved to Lake Oswego, Oregon, and then to Tigard, Oregon. David died in August of 2007. One of the special highlights of Dorothy’s marriage with David was their mission to the Washington DC Temple from July 2002 to Dec. 2003. Dorothy wanted to return to Utah, so she moved to Farmington, Utah in August of 2022.

Dorothy was a mother to five children, Larry (Joyce), Michael (Laurie), Kenneth (Sandy), Patricia (Charles) and Jeffrey. She has ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with another on the way. However, with her marriage to David, she became the step mother to five children, Robert (Candy), John (Gerry), Cheryl (Dan), Laurie (Mike), and Howard (Pam), and 19

great-grandchildren, with many great-great-grandchildren. One of the great attributes of Dorothy was her ability to include with love all that she associated with. She treated the Russell family like her own, and they consider her addition to the family a tender mercy.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. She would on several occasions bear her testimony to her family at various get-togethers. She loved to read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. Dorothy was an avid journal keeper. She served diligently in all her callings in the church; her most cherished calling was serving in the Manti, Utah and Portland, Oregon Temples. From early rural childhood days she exemplified the early to rise, early to bed routine.


All who knew her could attest to her vibrance, energy, and optimism. She was an original power walker, avid gardener, and demonstrated a strong self reliant personality. During her last moments on earth, it was clear she was ready to be reunited with her loved ones who passed before and her Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents Newell and Meta Clark, brothers Paul and Carl, sister Margaret, son Jeffrey and husbands Harold, John and David.

A brief memorial and grave dedication will be held on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm. at Rasmussen Mortuary 96 North 100 West Mt. Pleasant Utah.

Chuck Bynum ~~~ A Long time Friend

 

 

1942 – 2022

Charles “Chuck” Eatinger Bynum, 80, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022. He died peacefully with Lois at his side.

Chuck was born September 10, 1942, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Donna Maurine Eatinger and Hugh Bynum. He attended Wasatch Academy where he played football and graduated in 1960. After high school, Chuck moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend NIT Technical Institute and work at Bonanza Airlines (which after a long history of mergers and name changes is now Delta Airlines).

While living in Los Angeles, he met Lois Ann Odefey, a flight attendant also working for Bonanza Airlines. Chuck graduated from NIT in Mechanical Engineering. Chuck and Lois were married on September 14, 1963. They briefly lived in Reno, NV before Donna called needing help on the family farm, so they quit their airline jobs and moved back to Mt. Pleasant. Chuck later worked as a travel trailer salesman and then took a job working in the coal mining industry where he stayed for 30 years. Chuck enjoyed watching his three children: Dawn, Alana, and Heath thrive in school, sports, 4-H, and rodeo.

Once he retired from coal mining, he decided to start his own trucking company, operating first just in Utah, then expanding to Arizona. Chuck and Lois moved to Salt Lake City where Dawn’s family was living at the time, to be closer to their granddaughters.

Retirement came and the warm sunshine of Arizona was a little nicer than the cold snowy winters in Utah. Even though he lived in Arizona, his heart never left his small hometown.

He loved fishing, boating at Lake Powell, traveling, and spending time with his grandkids and great-granddaughters.

Chuck is preceded in death by his mom Donna Maurine Smith, brother Myron Frandsen, and his sister Charlyn Austin. He is survived by Lois Bynum, his children Dawn Buxton, Alana Favela, Heath Bynum, their spouses respectively, 4 granddaughters, one grandson, and two great-granddaughters.

Graveside services are being planned for the spring/summer of 2023 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Robert Dean Draper (BOB)

 

 

1928 – 2022

Robert Dean Draper (Bob) passed away on Nov. 4, 2022, leaving a void in the world, and in the hearts of his loved ones.

Bob was born to Edward Clifton & Wilhelmina Christensen Draper on January 11, 1928, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1946. He believed in hard work and at a very young age, he started logging and working in the family sawmill. They logged with large workhorses, and his dad used 2-man hand saws to cut down trees. Generations have been blessed with the sights, smells, and memories of the sawdust piles, the barn, rows of stacked logs, and fresh-cut lumber. Bob’s children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren cherish the memories of him running the sawmill, and chainsaw.

Bob married his wife, Doris in 1949. They were blessed with 4 wonderful children: Barry, Tanna, Tammy, and Coy, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren & 5 great, great-grandchildren. Bob and Doris were married for over 73 years and have lived in their Mt. Pleasant home for 40 years. Thru the years they have welcomed countless friends & family into their home to enjoy one of Doris’ delicious, homemade meals.

Bob has a great love for nature, animals, and the mountains. One of the mountains that Clifton, Bob, and Barry logged in was Twin Creek. Bob is known for building the road there, and over the years people built homes and gated off the road. (However, they honored Bob’s building it and provided him passage.)

Bob was a natural-born artist and loved to draw, paint and carve. In his later years, he combined his artistic talent with his skill of wielding a chainsaw. He became a renowned chainsaw carver, using only a chainsaw to carve fine details including a skewer-width Indian spear or the tender fetlock of a horse. He dominated chainsaw carving competitions and produced carvings that captured far more than met the eye. Bob has been featured in many magazine and newspaper articles, as well as TV shows. Most notably, the show “That’s Incredible” documented him carving and finishing one of his most prized pieces of art.

Bob was a devout servant of Jehovah and freely shared his beliefs. He is authentic, honest, and full of knowledge. He loved to show the kids and grandkids herds of elk or the beauty of a sunset, and he always gave credit to The Creator.

He is from “the old school” where right and wrong matter. His handshake was better than any legal document ever drafted. He had integrity, and compassion, and believed a man’s word meant everything. They don’t make ’em like him anymore!

He liked to put a smile on other people’s lips with his catchy little jokes and his sense of humor, (which he used right to the finish). When Bob was asked how he was doing he would often reply, “I’m Super Colossal” or “I’m in good shape for the shape I’m in.” Bob’s special way of wording or doing things, will continue to live through his posterity. His one granddaughter expressed it well by saying, “We try to emulate the qualities that grandpa taught us.”

Carlene Vione Anderson Taylor, 87 of Mt. Pleasant, Utah, our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend died peacefully at home on November 7, 2022, surrounded by the people she loved.
She was born August 12, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant to Carl Raymond and Mildred Johansen Anderson. She graduated from Moroni High School in May of 1952, as valedictorian. She married Ronald Lee (RL) Taylor from Mt. Pleasant on December 10, 1954 in the Manti Temple. They moved to Salt Lake in 1955 and resided there for 40 years. They were blessed with 3 wonderful children.
Carlene worked for six years for the Foreign Study League, spending one summer working as a chaperone for students in Italy, France, and England. She worked two years for the SL Division of Aeronautics as secretary to the director. She worked 12 years for the Veteran Administration Medical Center in Prosthetics and Mental health. She was an avid bridge player, earning over 100 master points while competing with duplicate bridge clubs in the Salt Lake area.
Carlene and RL retired, returned home to Mt. Pleasant and finished the retirement home they had been working on for years. In Mt. Pleasant they owned and operated an antique store called Heart of Utah Antiques & Collectibles for 11 years. They had a lot of fun doing that.
She is survived by her sweetheart of 67 years (RL); her 3 children, Ronald Craig Taylor, Chad A. (Jeanette) Taylor, and Melanie Taylor (James) Hancey; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grand children; her siblings Steve Anderson, Flo Carlston, Jeff Anderson and Marily Bevan.
Our darling Carlene, a true friend to everyone, will be remembered for her loving, kind and giving nature. She is much loved and will be very missed.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center (295 S State) with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church.
