Kyle Douglas Draper

 

Kyle Draper formerly of Mr. Pleasant 

and currently of Logan Utah, passed away 

in his sleep at his home on September 12, 2023.

Kyle was born in Calcutta, 

India on August 18, 1988. 

His parents Douglas Draper and

 Shauna Hepworth adopted him 

on April 2, 1989. 

He was welcomed into his family and loved like their own.

Kyle had many health challenges throughout his life. 

He was born with Cerebral Palsy and lost his left eye at four and a half years old. 

Kyle underwent many surgeries 

and many hours of various therapies.

 

He never complained and was a bright spot for others. 

Kyle was a very happy guy.

 

Everyone loved his big smile and friendly attitude. 

He made lifetime friends everywhere he went.

Kyle was an “old” soul. 

He liked old movies, old music, and older people. 

He always continued to learn, he enjoyed music, 

trying new recipes, and making friends.

 He loved history and especially 

information about the U.S. Presidents. 

He loved holidays but his favorite was Christmas. 

He would put up his Christmas tree in October.

Kyle was a very determined young man

 and tried his best at whatever he wanted to achieve. 

He graduated from North Sanpete High School in 2006 with honors and was his  

Senior Class President. He attended

 Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. 

He enjoyed getting to make friends 

living in Ephraim at 5 different apartments. 

He worked at the counseling office. 

Kyle fulfilled a service mission 

for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 

while living in Ephraim.

Kyle made the move to Logan, Utah in 2014. 

He kept active and enjoyed being independent.

 He served others and did volunteer work at the mall.

Kyle had many Special mentors, teachers, therapists, and friends who helped him increase his quality of life. Stan and Teresa Clark's family in Garland Utah included him as one of their own. 

He was very close to TaNeal Jenkins (Mt. Pleasant) and Diana Robbins (Manti) special friends who helped him fulfill throughout his life.

Kyle was preceded in death by friends; Colton Dyches (Moroni) 

Bryce Warren (Tremonton)

Curtis Hardman and 

Mickey Frodsham (Logan). 

Also, grandparents Val and Beverly Moore

 (Salt Lake City), Eva Staker (Mt. Pleasant), 

and Uncle Pat Moore (Salt Lake City).

Kyle is survived by his parents Douglas Draper (Mt. Pleasant), Shauna, and (Terry) Hepworth (Mt. Pleasant). Siblings Kristy (Dave) Mayo (Mt. Pleasant), Klint Draper (Fairview) and Kim (Jaymes) Lamb (Wales). Many nieces and nephews.

Mary J. Mower Dyches, 74 passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022. She was born on August 11, 1947 in Ogden Utah. She was the daughter of Lee and Jean Mower of Fairview Utah. She married the love of her life Sheran (Jug) Dyches on September 10, 1965 in the Manti Temple.

Mary was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints and served in many callings. She worked as the lunch lady for the Spring City Elementary School for many years. Later in her life she worked at the Sanpete County Treasures office where she loved to help those in the county. She loved gardening, canning food from her garden, sewing, quilting, going for long drives with her husband and camping at Fairview Lakes with her family. She loved the holidays and spending time with her family. Her kids, grandkids and great grandkids were the light of her life.

Mary is survived by her husband Sheran (Jug) Delon Dyches, six children Angela Ivory (Billings, MT), Stacy Mitchell (Dan) Strattford, CT, Neda Pyper (Steve) Manti, UT, Bradley Dyches (Lindsay) Springville, UT, Dallin Dyches, Alpine, WY, Garrett Dyches (Laura) Spanish Fork, UT. Brother, Richard Mower (Norene) AZ and 27 Grandchildren and l7 Great-Grand-Children. Proceeded in death by Parents Lee & Jeanette Mower, Brother, Jeff Mower and Grandson, Kyle Ivory.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Spring City 1st Ward Chapel (900 North State) with a viewing from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. prior to services at the Church. Interment in the Spring City Cemetery.

Danny Ross Dyches, 68, passed on, October 28, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Danny was born Nov. 6, 1950 in Mt. Pleasant, Ut. to Dean and LaRae Carlson Dyches. He married Barbara Joan Johansen on June 7, 1975 in the Manti LDS Temple. They have a son, Jeremy (deceased); grandson, Brody; daughter, Nicole (Jason) Larson; granddaughters, Olivia, Brooklyn, and Gracie; daughter, Raquel Christensen; granddaughter Janee, grandsons Jaxon and Braxton. Danny was a State Farm agent for 41 years. Danny lived life to the fullest. He was a turkey grower, enjoyed farming, hunting, visiting with family and friends, riding the West mountain, and especially the deer hunt. Danny’s favorite holidays were the 4th of July and Christmas-riding around playing music. He loved spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren. Danny had a love for everyone and will be missed by all who knew him. He loved serving his community, as Mayor of Moroni City, by taking care of the ball field and cemetery, and waving to everyone he saw. Danny was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had an unconditional love for all. Danny is survived by grandson, Brody; daughter Nicole (Jason) Larson, granddaughters, Olivia, Brooklyn, and Gracie; daughter, Raquel Christensen; granddaughter Janee, grandsons Jaxon and Braxton. Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, son Jeremy, his parents, Dean and LaRae Dyches, and siblings, Ranae Seely, Vernon Dyches, and Oleaha Mower, and many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank Kelli Davis and family for all their love and support. Services will be held November 2, 2019 in the Moroni LDS Stake Center
